DIFF Video: BIBA! Director Ben Bloodwell Talks Small-Island Elections
DIFF talked to Benjamin Bloodwell, director of BIBA! ONE ISLAND 879 VOTES, about his feature-length documentary debut about the elections on the South Pacific island of Tinian–a U.S. Commonwealth located south of Guam and due east of the Philippines.
With a deft balance, some stunningly beautiful cinematography and tongue firmly stuck in cheek, the movie re-defines what partisanship means and is a must-see during this election year.
BIBA! has its world premiere at DIFF 2012 tonight at 7:30 at the Angelika Film Center, so come check it out!
